You will want to get the garlic nice and fine. Blend it with a little liquid; the lemon juice will work here.
Get everything mixed up.
Add the chickpeas last. You will want to add about 1/3-1/2 Cup water or more to get it a thinner consistency. Your blender won't be happy if its too thick; if you want to do this, use a food processor instead of a blender cup.
Spice Mix
Anything Southern European, North African or Middle Eastern. I am using Ajika here but you can use anything from a Spainish paprika-based spice mix, Greek Spice mix, Shawarma mix or a Zaatar spice mix; usually I add the Zaatar over the top of the bowl when I serve it.
